Terre des Hommes Lausanne has recently published three reports analysing the state of juvenile justice systems in three Middle Eastern countries: Lebanon, Egypt, and Jordan. These reports were produced in collaboration with various stakeholders involved in these systems.

The reports assess the alignment of these systems with United Nations international standards regarding juvenile justice. These publications highlight the progress made, as well as the areas where juvenile justice systems diverge from these standards, both in terms of legislation and practical application.

The reports provide a series of recommendations aimed at offering potential solutions to relevant stakeholders. These are intended to facilitate changes that help these systems continue advancing towards a juvenile justice model that is child-friendly and protective of children's rights and their best interests, in line with these international standards.
